About Me

Well I guess first off I'm a 31 year old married American white girl with German and Irish ancestry. I'm really interested in my ancestry and history in general. Hence I am apart of a reinactment group called the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). I enjoy recreating clothing from the late (High) medieval and early renaissance periods (1400's - 1500's) as well as learning about how they lived. I'm a PA transplant to OK. My career path has taken me into IT the past few years. I have a loving husband and a small farm. I love to Garden and I can be pretty crafty. I like yoga and I'm pretty flexible for a fatty girl. I also like archery and target weapon throws (of which I don't get to do much of). The name I coined for this blog spot is the name I used for a time I trained with a Roller Derby team in Tulsa called the Green Country Roller Girls. And you know what? I sucked on skates! I had a lot of fun trying it out but really found that it was taking a lot of energy away from my other pursuits.
